Mario Bonafè

Born in Milan in 1963.
He obtained a first class honours degree in Jurisprudence at the University of Milan in 1989.
He is a member of the Milan Register of Lawyers.
He is a committee member at the Milan Council of the Bar (Teaching and Intern Training).
He is also registered with the American Chamber Of Commerce in Italy.
He works in the fields of business consultancy, industrial law, commercial and association law (with particular reference to extraordinary operations, mergers, acquisitions, reorganisation and restructuring in general).
He is particularly active in consultancy to firms in the publishing and media sectors (radio, television, digital publishing, advertising, internet), as well as telecommunications and Information Technology. He also advises leading associations and consortiums of publishers operating in digital publishing and digital terrestrial radio, television and sound broadcasting, and maintains relations with sector institutes and authorities.
He has completed numerous professional training and refresher courses, particularly in commercial law, association law and industrial law. He has published many works and spoken at numerous conferences, and obtained a Masters in European Community Law.
For over 15 years he has been involved with issues linked with authors’ rights, the internet (digital publishing, e-commerce, privacy laws) and new technologies.
He is a lecturer for the postgraduate Masters in Law and Enterprise (Business Legal Experts) for Sole 24 Ore.
He has been a partner of the Bonafè Grifoni e Associati law practice since 1999.
