Having graduated in Jurisprudence at the University of Milan, in 1974-75 he took a two-year course at the Scuola Superiore di Economia Politica, led by Claudio Napoleoni.
He has been a professional journalist since 1978.
Michele Mezza is vice-director of business development and technological strategies at RAI and former vice-director at RaiNews24.
Furthermore, he is head of the theoretical and technical course on new media at the University of Perugia.
He manages the website mediasenzamediatori. He is also the author of the book Sono le news, bellezza! (Donzelli Editore, 2011).
