Maria Vincenza Gargiulo (Castellammare di Stabia, 26/05/1988)

In 2013 I completed a two-year specialisation course (with honours) in Food Science and Technologies at the University of Bologna, Cesena campus. In 2014 I obtained a Level II Masters diploma in Forensic chemical and chemical-toxicological analysis from the University of Bologna.
Since 2013 I have become an entrepreneur, founding the company Edo srl with three colleagues. The aim of Edo is to provide a tool, specifically a smartphone app, which can evaluate food products on sale with identifying EAN barcodes. My role at Edo is Chief Food Analyst: I am responsible for the algorithms underlying the evaluation of food products, and I am also in charge of supervising content which is shared via our social media channels: blog, social networks and the app itself.
