Riccardo Marzi (Lucca, 1979), a graduate in political and international sciences, is a publicist and journalist, and works as head of press at Capannori town hall, where he has been in charge of all aspects of communications since 2007, alongside a specialised team.
A Web pioneer, he has always been keen to reap the benefits offered by technology.
Having been actively involved in the building and running of some of Italy’s first community experiences, Riccardo contributed his professionalism and dedication to the consolidation of national and local online publications which started in the late nineties and early noughties.
He was also part of the team of editors curating the content of segnalidifumo.net, the Tuscany Region’s first portal for young people. He was responsible for the communications strategy for the Carovana Nazionale Antimafie (national anti-mafia association), whose supporters include the Libera association founded by Father Luigi Ciotti, as well as an infancy project run by the Tuscany committee of the Arci association.
Riccardo also contributes to local print news publications.
