Pierre Mounier-Kuhn is chargè de recherches at CNRS and Universitè Paris-Sorbonne. He has published more than fifty papers on the history of computing in France (science, industry, governemental policies), and co-organized several international conferences on the history of computing, of patents and of telecommunications. He is the author of two books: “L’informatique en France de la seconde guerre mondiale au Plan Calcul L’émergence d’une science” (Presses de lè Universitè Paris-Sorbonne, 2010), on the early history of computing in France between the end of WWII and the late sixties. In 2012, together with mathematician Cedric Villani, he was the curator of an exhibition dedicated to Alan Turing at the “La Villette” museum.
