Paolo Pellegrini

Paolo Pellegrini, freelance journalist, was born in the Chianti Classico area and lives in Florence: hence the roots of his love for the Good and the Beautiful, great art in all its manifestations (especially music) and the material culture of the countryside. He started writing at a very early age, and after extensive experience in newspapers, periodicals, radio and TV broadcasting, he landed at La Nazione, where he recently concluded his career as section head, and where he was responsible for news, politics, current affairs, economy, agriculture, food and wine, culture and events (for twenty years he followed the activities of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino festival, including the editions held abroad). He currently contributes to the group’s publication Qn-La Nazione and L’Espresso’s Guida dei Ristoranti d’Italia, writes columns for several websites and radio stations, and occasionally has time to write his own blog, www.forchettone.blogspot.it.
