Lorenzo Mannella is a science writer with a degree in biotechnology. He works for the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia as a project manager in sustainable agriculture. He is also interested in technology, the environment, data journalism and entertainment.
He has worked as a blogger at Maker Faire Rome, and has written for Wired and Motherboard (VICE). He has been a freelance journalist for Galileo and a web editor for CheFuturo!, World Wide Rome and the Festival della Scienza Live.
He has published two e-books with goWare: Troglodata (2013) on the future of internet, and Storybook (2014), on the first ten years of Facebook. He also works as a fixer for foreign journalists.
