Francesco Quarna is content manager of Radio Deejay / deejay.it
He was born in Varallo (VC) on 30 October 1980.
In 1996 he took his first steps as a sound engineer at several local radio stations in the north-west of Italy (Puntoradio 96, Radio Planet, Alfa Radio). Outside the studio, he made a name for himself as a DJ in local clubs and events.
In 2003 he came to publishing group L’Espresso as a music programmer at Radio Deejay. From 2011 to date he has been in charge of digital content at Deejay, coordinating the website deejay.it and its official social media channels.
In parallel, since 2006 he has been responsible for music selection for the programme Tropical Pizza, broadcast Monday to Friday afternoons on Radio Deejay.
Between 2001 and 2009 he wrote dozens of articles for music and club culture magazines Trend Wave and JayMag.
Apart from music, his passions are travel, mountains and food and wine. Sarah and Giuditta are at the centre of his world.
