Elena Dominique Midolo completed a research doctorate in Sociology and Methodology of Social Research at the Catholic University of Milan. She has carried out research at international level, for example in Britain, where she attended the Centre for Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths College, London, extending her study into the sociology of culture and cultural processes and phenomena.
She has also investigated media consumption in intercultural contexts, focusing on the paradigms of music production and listening in multiethnic backgrounds.
She has written two monographs: Flow of Sounds. Musica e Diaspora: il rap islamico in Gran Bretagna and Sound Matters. Orizzonti sonori della cultura contemporanea.
Her passion for research drives her to explore new media, and having met Clio Zammatteo, in 2008 she took on the commercial and strategic planning of ClioMakeUp, where she is currently CEO.
