Cheikh Fall is a digital manager and cyber activist, and a web influencer on Twitter (16,000 followers) and Facebook (5,000 friends).
He is member of Unated Nations Global Youth Policy Forum and Youth Expert for UNESCO. He is also member of the DGTrends for African Union.
He was nominated for the 2013 Netizen prize by Reporters without Borders and Google. He was also nominated by the French public as a favorite in the 2014 Best of Online Activisim (Bobs). The Sunu2012 and Sunucause web projects, which he helped start, are voluntary citizeninitiatives focused on transparency in democracy, civil society involvement, and a catalyst for increased citizen action.
The #Sunu2012 hashtag he created on Twitter became well-known and utilised during Senegal’s presidential elections in February 2012. He is the founder of the African League of cyber-democracy activists AFRICTIVISTES.
