The Makers are becoming powerful and knocking at the doors of the market. They bring a new way of thinking about the economy which is yet to be created and tested. This workshop is the ideal place to experience the future of distributed production: participants will be invited to create prototypes of products for bicycles, to be sold in kits made by Fab Lab technology. Opendot will bring its know-how to design and production, while Thinkalize will set up the details of the target market and host the projects on its own online community, for further fine-tuning. And all with an open source approach.
