Current research in music informatics enable users with little musical knowledge to produce sophisticated music, sometimes of a quality close to what humans produce. Pachet will present some results obtained in his research team to capture, model, and exploit musical style in various types of music. He will illustrate the talk with artificially generated music compositions, orchestrations and arrangements.
