The secrets of Italian cooking are hidden in villages perched in the mountains, in the suburbs of the great cities and in seaside towns scorched by the sun. The gastronomic heritage envied by the world is born in the home: even before it became TV cooking, or won Michelin stars, popular Italian cooking was emotional, a family thing. Artusi Remix attempts to pay well-deserved homage to all the thousands of cooking stars in Italy who will never open a restaurant. After more than a year of web-based research which involved collecting hundreds of recipes from every corner of the peninsula, Donpasta has chosen the best of our country’s popular cooking, serving up to the reader a panoramic view of what’s cooking in Italian homes.
