Boris Sollazzo

Boris Sollazzo works for Giornalettismo. And he loves it: he has found a genial director and a wonderful editorial team, as well as a space that is free and stimulating. As this is Italy, he has chained himself to his chair, fearing it was all a joke. They haven’t taken him away so far.
He has written for Liberazione, Pubblico and Il Garantista. The fact that they have closed down is not linked directly to his presence, but may well have something to do with it. He loves the microphone, so you can hear him on Radio24 (La rosa purpurea), RadioRock (Il Sollazzo del Pappagallo) and Teleradiopiù (Factotum). He writes about cinema and other fabulous arts such as football wherever he can – Riders, Ciak, Rolling Stone, Acqua e Sapone, Il Giornale – and he hasn’t yet decided what he wants to be when he grows up – whether a writer on sport (oh yes, he’s written books, Non abbiate paura di me, about Clemente Russo, and Che vi siete persi sul tifo per il Napoli, both for Fandango), or cinema or politics (he has written America Oggi for Edizioni Alegre and Diaz. Una storia italiana. Troppo italiana for Fandango). Or maybe festivals like La valigia dell’attore, which he is passionately involved in. He has a thousand projects (including a wonderful, crazy festival), but they could all be swept aside by an Intercontinental Cup win by Naples.
