Leonardo Romanelli, from Florence, recently reached his half-century and has a job which is hard to describe, since it includes so many roles: some time ago he decided he wanted to be the modern Anton Ego – the food critic in “Ratatouille” – he has always been interested in wine too, and has an insane passion for the arts, which he follows with excessive enthusiasm – from teaching to theatre, with incursions into music and television, not forgetting his passion for radio, where he terrorises listeners with his improbable breakfasts. He is an organiser of wide-ranging gastronomic projects, such as culinary pilgrimages or cooking sessions with chefs who let themselves be talked into unforgettable events, and he manages – by hardly ever sleeping – to be a curious writer and chronicler of taste. He joyfully chose to spend his days at the table or in the wine cellar, which he does with unbridled pleasure. His dream is to write a musical, and he has already started working on it!
